Year of the Pig

So I cut up the sleeve of an old felted wool sweater, and I quickly read up on how to blanket stitch, and voila! A Pig Ipod Cozy for E. The stitches appear to be sewn by a 5-year old, and I am okay with that.

As for Josh's manly scarf, here's Tig Tig being the ever gracious feline model. She looked like she wanted to pounce rather than pose for the camera. The scarf is quite longer than it appears - it's very good at squishing into a little roll. I was surprised. Yesterday the temperature outside was 30 below, but J insisted that the scarf was not necessary. This is to be his last knit. Sorry, guy.
