I mastered the zipper! I was terrified, but I used
Amy Karol's illustrations and notes from
Bend the Rules, and I did it. In fact, I used up all the zippers I bought on Saturday, and I had to go back to Fabricland and buy seven more. It felt good.
Then I copied
T and made some project bags. I'm now taking orders! : )
N
very cute little pouches!
ReplyDeleteI did the same thing! After that sewing class, I mean. A million little zippered bags that are now full of legos and little toys and whatevers. I love yours. Your zippers look tidier than mine. Did you line them? I haven't gotten up the gumption to do that yet. And I made a project bag over the weekend. Great minds. ; )
ReplyDeleteYou my dear are now the zipper queen! Those little zippered sweeties looked like pencil cases to me LOL. Then I read the post! What a great job you did. Now you have the sewing beeeeeeee!
ReplyDeleteOMG OMG awesome! i can't believe you made SEVEN MORE! I see one that matches my woody bag. Want! ;)
ReplyDeleteWe showed them off tonight at Coffee Culture (you weren't there! tsktsk!) and everyone loved them!
I must get that Amy Karol book when I get the chance. Love the zippered purses and congrats on doing such a wonderful job on the zips. Have a ZIPpy dee doo dah day!
